Editorial Policy

How we research, write, fact-check, and review every piece of content on FemPeptides.

Research Standards

Every factual claim on FemPeptides must be supported by a primary source — published peer-reviewed research (PubMed), FDA documents, clinical trial registries (ClinicalTrials.gov), or official government sources. We do not cite podcasts, influencer content, social media posts, or manufacturer marketing materials as evidence.

When we reference a study, we include the full citation with PMID so readers can verify the source independently. We distinguish between human clinical trials, animal studies, and in vitro research — and we flag when evidence comes primarily from animal models.

Evidence Rating System

Every peptide profile includes an evidence strength rating from 1-5, reflecting the quality and quantity of published research. Ratings are based on study design (RCTs rank highest), sample size, replication across studies, and regulatory status. A rating of 5/5 indicates FDA approval or extensive Phase III trial data; a rating of 1/5 indicates animal studies only or very early-stage research.

Medical Review Process

All clinical content undergoes review by licensed healthcare providers with verified credentials. Reviewers are credentialed through state medical licensing board verification. Our review board includes physicians with experience in peptide therapy, endocrinology, and integrative medicine. Reviewers assess clinical accuracy, appropriate framing of evidence, and responsible presentation of investigational therapies.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial team and affiliate partnerships operate with strict separation. No vendor, clinic, or advertiser has editorial input or approval over our content. Evidence ratings, peptide evaluations, and quiz recommendations are based on published research — not vendor relationships. We disclose all affiliate partnerships on every relevant page.

Corrections Policy

If we publish an error, we correct it promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted on the affected page with the date of correction. To report an error, email corrections@fempeptides.com with the page URL, the specific claim, and the correct source.
